Salwar suits are one of the most popular trends in Indian ethnic wear today; they are worn for most Indian/Pakistani cultural occasions. An Anarkali salwar suit is a form of women’s Indian ethic wear dress which has recently made its way back to the Indian fashion scene. An Anarkali suit is essentially a Salwar Kameez with a longer flared shape Kameez, not only this but the detailing on this type of suit is what sets this Indian ethnic wear apart from the rest. The Anarkali suit varies in many different lengths and embroideries including floor length Anarkali styles. The embroidery is usually hand-worked on the Anarkali suit and often in traditional fashion. There are popular colours for Anarkali suits which are usually vibrant colours such as, magentas, blues, and aquamarines and of course reds. Red coloured Anarkali suits are very traditional and considered extremely auspicious.
