But, lately, various interior design experts say that it is possible to make a house swimming pool and even a pool house also if you didn’t inherit a fortune from a distant wealthy relative, or if you have limited space.

Today we are going to discuss everything you need to know regarding home pool installation.

    Installing the Swimming Pool

Once you have decided to install your fantastic home pool, there are several things you need to plan. In the beginning, you need to see what are the dimensions, the depth, and the shape going to be following the size of the space you have. Also, you need to plan things per the budget you can set for this.  The following steps will be to choose water treatment as well as recovery systems. Finally, there are the details such as the covering, surrounding, equipment, pool house, and so on. If you want to arrange as many things as possible by yourself, you will need a lot of home improvement tools.

    Shape

Shape if one of the crucial aspects of the home pool arrangement because it also depends on the shape and size of your yard.  The thing is that there are a lot of shapes and you can do whatever you imagine. The most common and sort of formal is the rectangular pool, where one side is about twice as long as the other. For those who have a smaller backyard, a better option would maybe be the L shaped version. It is, however, essential to know that rectangular pools are usually cheaper.

    Size

Same as with shapes, there are a lot of swimming pool sizes. The sizes of the most common swimming pool that people install at home are 10×20 feet, 15×30 feet, or 20×40 feet.  You will notice that whatever are the dimensions, the length is twice as long as the width.  This is especially the case with geometrically shaped pools.

    Depth

The minimum depth of a pool for swimming should be 3.9 feet if there is a trampoline for jumping or pool water slides for home than the pool should be around 8 feet deep. If you want to install a trampoline that is high and exceeds  3 feet, then the depth of your house pool should be approximately 10 feet.

    Circulation System

This is the system that draws the water from the pool and drains it with the centrifugal pump. The water goes through the skimmers that are usually around the top and drains that are at the bottom. This is done to filtrate the water in the pool and make sure it is clean and safe for swimming.

    Other Features

After the basics things have been established, it is time to think about other aspects such as what kind of covering you prefer (reinforced PVC, ceramic, natural stone, mosaic, or something else). Keep in mind that this isn’t just the question of the design but safety as well.

Finally, what remains is the surrounding. There are different types of surrounding that you can install depending on your preferences and safety requirements. Some of the materials you can use are wood, marble, natural stone, etc.

    Pool House

Once you have a pool, you might be interested in making a pool house as well.  It is a convenient building to have because you can easily change and keep your clothes there. But also, you can have a little fridge there to keep the drinks and snacks, garden chairs and tables, swimming equipment and so on.
