Intake of vata and kapha-aggravating foods lead to the impairment of digestive fire which forms ama (toxin) in body. Toxins accumulation leads to rheumatoid arthritis. To treat the rheumatoid arthritis naturally, herbs in Ayurveda pacifies the vata dosha along with kapha and eliminate the toxins from body. Lashuna, Garlic (Allium sativum) – Being packed with the strong anti-inflammatory properties, garlic is also suggested to manage the rheumatoid arthritis. It prevents the formation of free radicals which may result in joint damage and also stimulates a healthy immune system.

Guggulu (Comiphora mukul): To treat the rheumatoid arthritis naturally, use of this herb is quite good.  It possesses the analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties which helps to alleviate inflammation and joint pains. It also helps to reverse the degenerative effects in bones and joints.

Sonth (Zingiber officinale) Dry Ginger is the common name of this herb. To treat the inflammatory diseases use of this herb is famous in Ayurveda since ages. Gingerol, bioactive compound found in ginger possess anti-inflammatory properties that help to reduce the pain, inflammation and swelling in rheumatoid arthritis. Moreover, it also helps to clear the toxins (ama) from body.

Haridra (Curcuma longa) Turmeric is the common name of this herb which is considered as an effective herb to manage the rheumatoid arthritis. In India it is one of most common spice used in the Kitchen. It acts as wonderful blood detoxifier that helps to remove the toxins from body.
